The National Museum and Military Museum in Port Said has a variety of displays covering all of Egyptian history. |

 The Museum, which was opened in 1987, has exhibits on the 1st floor covering prehistory and the pharaonic period, including several mummies and sarcophagi along with various statues and other artefacts. On the next floor is Islamic and Coptic material, including textiles, manuscripts and coins, as well as artefacts from the Khedival family.
Military Museum focuses on the 1967 and 1973 wars with Israel, featuring tanks, unexploded bombs, guns, etc, as well as exhibits tracing the history of Pharaonic and Islamic warfare.
The Museum of Modern Art in Ports Said is in Shohada Square, and features the Modern History of Port Said by Egyptian artists.
